Dusit International Road Show 2012

Dusit hotels in Thailand and India joined together for a road show to Delhi and Mumbai for business-to-business meetings with tour agencies and other business counterparts.

From 26-31 August 2012, the teams from Dusit International headed by Ms. Jurairat Sirisambhand, Group Director of Sales & Marketing have been on the road to promote their hospitality business in Thailand and around the world.  The group consisted of representatives from 8 Dusit hotels who also took on the job of introducing Indian travelers to other destinations beyond the popular seaside resorts in Phuket, Pattaya, and Hua Hin.

The Dusit franchise is a world renowned international hospitality group.  In India, Dusit has joined with the BIRD Group to launch Dusit Devarana, a 7-star boutique property in Delhi slated to open at the end of the year. The BIRD Group also plans to open Dusit hotels in Jaipur and Rishikesh in the near future.

Ambassador Pisan Manawapat remarked that Dusit represented the best of Thainess and Thai hospitality.  The roadshow was a good initiative to acquaint Indian travelers with the luxury Thai franchise with over 60 years of experience and the upcoming properties in India.  Other team Thailand members who graced the event included Ms. Runjuan Tongrut, Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, New Delhi and Mr. Korakot Chatasingha, General Manager of Thai Airways International (India).
