On 22 July 2015, the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau which is popularly known by its acronym, TCEB, organized a road show at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi to achieve its vision of establishing Thailand as the most favored and premier destination for MICE (Meetings, incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) summits in Asia.
Since its inception by a Royal Decree in 2002, TCEB which is a public organization has devoted all its resources towards achieving its goals. It offers its clients to organize their respective seminars in 30 distinct locations within Thailand. Among them, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket and Khon Kaen have emerged as the Top 5 favored destinations.
Over the years, TCEB’s enticing incentives such as service oriented support to meeting-goers, flexible schedules, numerous financial aids and access to world class convention centers have enabled the organization to taste the sweet nectar of success.
In order to forge stronger economical bonds between India and Thailand, TCEB brought 29 Thai companies, predominantly from the Hospitality and Tourism sector to encourage bilateral cooperation. Some of the elite Thai hotels were present such as Novotel Phuket, Pavilion Samui Villas and Resort, Royal Park Rajapruek, Deevana Plaxa Krabi Aonang and others. Simultaneously, few other prominent organizations had also graced the event. Some of them were Thai Airways, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Bangkok Airways, Siam Naramit, Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre and Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
