Centara Watergate Pavillion Hotel Bangkok, a four-star property located at Rachaprarop and above the Watergate Pavillion shopping complex, is the fourth hotel to be opened in Bangkok by Centara Hotels & Resorts.
Centara's two longest-established hotels in Bangkok, Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, and Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok, are both integral to prime shopping malls, a factor in acquiring the new management contract.
The new hotel and shopping complex are located inside a newly constructed 20-storey building, with the hotel taking up a total of 10 floors and featuring a total of 288 guestrooms. Of these, 243 will be standard rooms, 27 will be Premium rooms, and 18 will offer a family-friendly concept.
Facilities will include an all-day restaurant with a total of 300 seats indoors and outdoors, a rooftop restaurant with 100 seats, and a rooftop bar with 80 seats. There will be a Spa Cenvaree with nine treatment rooms and a 56sqm fitness centre. Two meeting rooms, each of 56sqm, will cater for the meetings and events sector.
The Watergate Pavillion shopping complex is being built in two phases. Phase 1 consists of 18 floors and two basements, totalling 60,000sqm, with more than 1,000 shops and food outlets. Phase 2 will consist of 25,000sqm of space with 900 shops.

The latest Centara brand is named COSI Hotels, an economy brand designed for travellers who predominantly make their bookings via the internet and who want comfort and convenience at the most friendly prices available, which is under development with the first property due to open in 2015.
