The Thai Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) hit the 64-month-high in July on optimism over the government's plan to boost the economic growth, according to a survey by a local Thai agency.
The July Index rose to 84.1 points after an 81.7 points in June, according to a survey by the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC).
Besides lower fuel prices, increased export growth and stable agricultural commodity prices are also the supportive factors.
Reading below 100 indicates that consumers are less optimistic. In Thailand, CCIs have remained below 100 since 2005.
